Background: Mammary carcinoma is still the highly diagnosed tumor among all the cancers in the female population, a diagnosis in which breast radiological imaging has played a crucial role for early diagnosis and prompt management. Since the advent of general radiological screening modalities for breast cancer, the medical community has done a lot to provide its benefits to all types of eligible patient groups. Data showed that general radiological imaging have limitations in delineation of the tumors in multiple scenarios i.e. women with high breast density, where high breast density alone, have been published to be an independent risk indicator for developing breast cancer. Objectives are to develope first normal values and database under the guidelines of WHO and IAEA for early detection of breast cancers in Kuwaiti population using dedicated small sized BSGI/PEM camera.
